Boston College: SIXTH is a purpose-built centre created exclusively for students studying A Levels. With modern facilities, dedicated study spaces and a supportive learning environment, the SIXTH has been carefully designed to encourage independence, confidence and academic success.

Unlike school, the SIXTH offers a more grown-up and professional atmosphere, giving you the freedom and responsibility to take charge of your own studies. This environment helps you to develop key skills such as time management, self-motivation and independent learning – all of which are vital for succeeding at university or in future employment.

“I chose to study A levels at Boston College to help me progress to university. I like the independence and how you have more responsibility compared to when you are living at home. As I have never lived away from home before, it took a couple of weeks to settle in, but I got used to it very quickly and it has made me feel grown-up. I have also made many friends from lots of different countries and cultures – everyone is very friendly.

I have been on trips to York, Cambridge, Nottingham and Manchester. It has been a good opportunity to see the country. In my spare time, I study or spend time with my friends.
