Who We Work With

Boston College maintains strong employer partnerships by offering a range of opportunities such as real world briefs, work experience placements, Apprenticeships, and business networking events. These initiatives create valuable connections between students and employers, helping students gain hands-on experience and develop industry-specific skills essential for success in the future workforce.

Rolec

ROLEC’s partnership with Boston College is built on shared goals and a genuine two-way approach. From the outset, both sides have focused on supporting people to grow and shaping learning around real business needs.

The ESOL programme has been a particular success, with ten team members gaining qualifications and growing in confidence. Sessions are delivered on site, tailored to ROLEC’s operations, and shaped through ongoing dialogue between staff and tutors. Participants now contribute actively in team briefings, demonstrating both assurance and engagement. The programme goes beyond language skills, helping people feel seen, capable, and ready to play a fuller role in the workplace.

Beyond ESOL, ROLEC has participated in College-facilitated breakfast meetings, supported SparkFest, welcomed business students, donated EV chargers, and explored further training opportunities such as menopause awareness. The partnership continues to evolve, with an impact that extends far beyond the workplace.
