Boston College is committed to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion amongst students and staff, so that it is ever visible as a central point of the College's culture.
This commitment is also one of the College's key strategic aims, and helps fulfil the vision of being 'Brilliant Today, Better Tomorrow' and mission 'to ensure that all our students achieve their brilliant ‘best’ for their employers, their communities, for themselves and for the future.'
The College also recognises its duties under the Equality Act and other relevant legislation. This includes the Public Sector General Equality Duty which requires public bodies such as the College to have a due regard to the need to:
