Yes, funding is available to support training through a range of schemes. Incentive funding may be available for apprentices, depending on their age and the size of your business. Other courses could be supported through targeted programmes, such as Lincolnshire’s Skills Support for the Workforce, while staff may also be eligible to apply for learning loans to pursue higher-level qualifications.

For tailored advice and guidance on funding options, please contact our Business Development Team on 01205 313242 or email employers@boston.ac.uk.

Yes, absolutely. Your employee can undertake an apprenticeship as long as they meet the entry requirements for the chosen programme. Apprentices who do not already hold the required level of English and Maths will complete these as part of their training.

In addition, your staff member may benefit from Boston College’s range of short courses, which provide excellent value and are delivered locally, helping them build skills quickly while supporting your business’s specific needs.

The location of your training will depend on the apprenticeship or course. Training, assessments, and review visits can often take place at your workplace, providing convenience and minimal disruption to your business. Where specialist equipment or IT support is required, sessions are typically held at Boston College or Spalding College to ensure the highest-quality learning experience.
