Our Campus & Facilities
Boston College is based across five individual campuses, all offering their own unique learning experience to the students who study there.
Student Experience
At Boston College, learning goes beyond the classroom. You’ll gain hands-on experience in real working environments and industry-standard facilities, taught by staff who have first-hand experience in the sectors they teach. The College also takes learning further by offering opportunities to explore different experiences, giving you a genuine insight into the industry you want to progress into.
But college life isn’t just about studying. There’s always something to get involved in, from joining a sports team to taking on a role as a Student Representative, giving you plenty of ways to have fun, make friends, and shape your time at Boston College.
The Student Voice provides a way of listening to your concerns, interests and needs in order to make college life better for you.
You will work with the Quality Improvement Manager to amplify your voice. It's about working with Boston College staff, respecting what everyone has to say, sharing opinions, listening and getting things sorted together.
A Safe and Supportive Space at Our College
At Boston College, we are proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, with a dedicated group of LGBTQ+ Champions at the forefront of this mission. This group meets regularly to discuss the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ students, explore solutions, and create an atmosphere of understanding and friendship among all students, whether LGBTQ+ or not.
One of our students shared, “The College has this amazing group where we get our say in the change we want to see around us to help us feel more comfortable.” This reflects the importance of our LGBTQ+ Champions in giving students a platform to be heard and to shape the College’s approach to inclusion.
Our LGBTQ+ Champions are passionate about creating a safe space where students feel supported, heard, and respected. For many students, this group has become a trusted platform for expressing their concerns, connecting with others, and accessing resources related to LGBTQ+ issues. Our college has become a place where students can be their authentic selves, knowing that they are part of a community that cares.
Another student expressed, “I feel like the whole LGBTQ+ community has been stigmatised and that people who are associated with it always have problems, but the College is a safe and welcoming space.”
Additionally, our Champions actively engage with external organisations to enhance understanding and raise awareness about LGBTQ+ topics. These partnerships help us ensure that our support network is ever-evolving and continues to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, this forum is for you. We invite everyone to join us in fostering a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment that promotes friendship, personal growth, and mutual respect. Together, we can make our college a place where everyone feels valued and empowered, no matter who they are.
