Overview
Boston College offers a wide range of apprenticeship courses across a variety of course areas, so whichever industry you wish to progress your career within there'll be an apprenticeship for you. Currently the College offers apprenticeships across three different levels. As you progress through the levels, you'll develop a greater insight in your chosen career, as well as developing your skills and knowledge.

Course Areas
Listed below are all of the course areas which offer apprenticeships at Boston College:
Levels of Apprenticeships
Intermediate Apprenticeships
An Intermediate or Level 2 Apprenticeship is the equivalent to five GCSEs at 9-4 (grades A*-C) and is a perfect choice if you are taking your first steps into employment. You will work towards a relevant Level 2 qualification and you will also be able to develop your English, Maths and ICT skills if necessary.
Advanced Apprenticeships
An Advanced or Level 3 Apprenticeship is equivalent to two A level passes. Ideally, you should have already completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship, and have a good knowledge of the industry you are working in. You will work towards a relevant Level 3 qualification which will provide an even deeper understanding of your industry, as well as having the opportunity to develop your skills in English, Maths and ICT.
Higher Apprenticeships
As a Higher Apprentice you will work towards a Level 4 qualification or above. Successful completion could lead on to studies at Level 5 (Foundation Degree) or Level 6 (Bachelors Degree), to take your career to the next level.
