Getting to college should be a simple and stress-free experience. There are a variety of reliable transport options to suit your individual needs, whether you're commuting daily or travelling from further away. The campus is easily accessible via local bus and train services, and for those who prefer to cycle, there are secure and dedicated bike shelters. Additionally, the College provides FREE on-campus parking, ensuring there is a range of accessible ways for you to travel to and from college.
Plan Your Journey
Car, Motorbike or Bike
If you are driving or cycling* to college, you can park for FREE at our Rochford Campus, Mayflower Building, Peter Paine Centre, and our Horncastle Campus.
Our Sam Newsom Centre is a short walk away from the Rochford Campus, allowing you to park for FREE and take the short walk across. There is currently no parking at our Spalding Campus, but there are car parks available nearby.
*Please note, cycle parking is at your own risk. The College recommends using a secure bike lock and the allocated bike shelters.
Public Transport

Boston College operates a FREE courtesy bus service from our Rochford Campus and Peter Paine Centre, and the Boston Bus Station at the end of each day.
Travel Pass
If you are aged under 19 on 1st September and live more than 3 miles from the College, you can apply for a subsidised travel pass from Lincolnshire County Council.

Financial Support for Transport
There may be financial support available for travel costs to college by applying for the 16-19 Bursary Fund or the 19+ Learner Support Fund. This may include support to cover costs of a Lincolnshire County Council Travel Pass, public transport tickets, or a mileage allowance.
