Who we work with

Boston College maintains strong employer partnerships by offering a range of opportunities such as real world briefs, work experience placements, Apprenticeships, and business networking events. These initiatives create valuable connections between students and employers, helping students gain hands-on experience and develop industry-specific skills essential for success in the future workforce.

Lincolnshire Police

Boston College’s long-standing partnership with Lincolnshire Police helps bridge the gap between young people and public services. From outreach activities and mock interviews to Stop and Search Scrutiny Panels, students gain real-world insight into policing while officers build trust and understanding with the next generation.

Scrutiny panels, supported by college staff and students, feed directly into force-wide learning and development. Their feedback influences officer training, builds public trust, and ensures policing reflects the communities it serves. Plans for future walk-in panels aim to widen participation even further.

The College benefits from employer engagement and visible pathways into public service, while Lincolnshire Police gain authentic insight, stronger community relationships, and future recruits, with several former students now serving locally.
