Hear what our students think...

“I’m really interested in fashion, and the courses available to me in Germany are a lot more theory-based, so I chose to come to Boston College to study Art and Design. We’ve been able to showcase our work in exhibitions, which was really exciting. The course allows you to choose your own theme and tailor it to fit your own personal interest.

When I started the course, I didn’t know anyone, but I have now made friends with people from all over the world.”

Eva | Art and Design

“During the Art and Design course we are given briefs, which we can interpret and personalise to our own interests, giving us freedom to express ourselves.

The lecturers are really supportive – whatever idea we’ve got they’ll support us to complete it, they invest their time in us. We also have the opportunity to use facilities outside of the art and design studio, such as the photography studio and AppleMac suites.”
