Course Summary
Interested in digital technologies but not sure yet which area is for you? This course gives you the chance to try a bit of everything.
You'll build foundation skills across areas including programming, games development, cyber security, networking, website design, IT support and robotics. You'll learn through a mixture of practical activities and projects, giving you the opportunity to discover what you enjoy and where your strengths are.

Alongside your main course, you'll have opportunities to get involved in activities such as games tournaments, robotics challenges, guest speakers, trips and our games club.
Level 1 Pass Plus - At Boston College, learners who want to progress onto Level 2 are expected to complete the full programme, not just the minimum units required to achieve the Level 1 qualification. Our internal Pass Plus standard recognises learners who successfully complete all of the units in their programme, including the additional personal development, vocational maths, digital skills and career-planning elements. Pass Plus is designed to help learners build the confidence, independence and study skills needed for progression to Level 2.
