Course Summary
Have you ever wanted to have a go at quilting? Why not come along to our friendly class where you will be introduced to the principles of quilting and understand the fabrics to use and how to create texture. You will be able to design and make your own quilted product based on different quilting patterns.
Please note, for the first lesson you will need to bring your own sewing machine, thread, fabric scissors and thread snips/scissors, pins & needles plus calico fabric, 1m of 4oz wadding, pieces of scrap fabric and a water dispersible ink pen.
What else do I need to know?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
The course will take you 12 hours to complete, over 4 weekly sessions. You will attend college from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at our Spalding Campus, starting on Tuesday 28th April 2026.
This course is fully funded, meaning you won’t have any course fees to pay.p>
