The Active IQ Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Fitness Coaching (Certificate) has no formal qualifications though it is expected that you will have sufficient written and verbal communication skills to support your completion of the course.
You will also have a good understanding of gym-based exercise and display familiarity with various peices of commonplace gym equipment.
The Active IQ Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Fitness Coaching (Certificate) will take you 15 weeks to complete. You will attend college for 1 day per week at our Peter Paine Centre in Boston.
For those aged 19+, this course will cost: £1116.00.
Alternatively, you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with your College fees. If you progress to employment you won't have to pay anything back until you’re earning £25,000 per year. Your household income isn't taken into account and there's no credit check. Your eligibility depends on your course, nationality, and age. You will be assessed via portfolio work, practical observations, and a series of electronic assessments.
Successfully completing the Active IQ Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Fitness Coaching (Certificate) can support progression into employment within a gym-based profession. The qualification may also support progression onto further study in the field including an accredited Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
