The Level 3 Award in Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws in the UK is designed for those working in the Plumbing and Heating industry to develop a thorough understanding of the legal requirements for plumbing systems in the UK. You will ensure and enhance your ability to install plumbing systems that comply with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and UK Building Regulations.

What will I do?

During this course, you will develop knowledge of the UK Water Regulations, including Water Supply (Water Fittings). You will learn how to support the prevention of contamination of water, waste, and undue consumption.

To study this course, you will need to have successfully completed one of the following:

  • An existing Water Regulations/Unvented Hot Water qualification
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification
  • An Industry Registration Scheme, e.g., Gas Safe Register (ACS, OFTEC 105E, or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ industry experience in the installation of domestic heating and hot water systems, or in design and advisory services for domestic heating and hot water systems

The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws in the UK Award Level 3 will take you 1 day to complete. You will attend college from 9:00am-5:00pm at our Rochford Campus in Boston.

This course may be fully funded by the Adult Education Budget should you be eligible under the following criteria:

  • Be aged 19+ on the 31st August at the start of the current academic year
  • Be either unemployed and receiving JSA, ESA or Universal Credit (subject to criteria) OR be earning less than ยฃ25,750 (annual gross salary) a year
 

If you do not qualify for the Adult Educational Budget, this course will cost ยฃ210.

Please note that all fees are subject to change.

You will be assessed via a multiple choice examination.

Successful completion of this course will provide sufficient knowledge of Water Regulations to ensure that all installation work is carried out in accordance with the current regulations in the UK. You will be awarded a 5-year Accreditation Certificate of Competence.
