What else do I need to know?
The Open Event will be held at our Rochford Campus – Boston College, Skirbeck Road, Boston, Lincs, PE21 6JF (Sat Nav Postcode: PE21 6DA).
For visitors attending specialist centres:
- Peter Paine Performance Centre (Sport, Fitness and Wellbeing) – Rosebery Avenue, Boston, PE21 7QR. You can go directly to Peter Paine or use our free shuttle bus from Rochford
- Sam Newsom Centre (Performing Arts and Music) – 28 South Street, Boston, Lincs, PE21 6HT. You can visit directly or travel via our free shuttle bus from Rochford
Parking:
- Rochford Campus and Peter Paine Performance Centre both have free on-site parking
- If visiting the Sam Newsom Centre, you can park at Rochford and either walk to the centre or use the free shuttle bus
If you are visiting the Rochford Campus or parking before taking the shuttle bus, please head directly to the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology Centre (EMAT) to check in. Our friendly Event Team will register your arrival, provide a welcome pack, and direct you to the course area(s) you wish to visit.
If you are going straight to the Peter Paine Performance Centre for Sport, Fitness, or Wellbeing courses, you can check in upon arrival at Peter Paine.
Our Student Services Team is here to ensure you have all the guidance and support you need at Boston College. At the Open Event, you can speak to staff about:
- Careers Advice – Get free, impartial guidance to help you choose the right course or career path
- Finance Guidance and Transport – Find out about tuition fees, financial support and transport options, and available to you
- Additional Learning Support – Discover the support available to help to succeed
- Wellbeing Support – Talk to our team about wellbeing services and how we can help you thrive at college

If you find the right course for you at the Open Event, you don’t need to wait - you can apply there and then at one of our dedicated application stations located in the Rochford Library. Our staff will be on hand to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have, making it quick and simple to secure your place.
If you are a school leaver, we recommend bringing along your predicted or target grades where possible, as this will help speed up your application.
For adult learners and Higher Education applicants, our friendly team will also be available to provide advice and support to ensure you have everything you need to start your journey with Boston College.
