Course Summary

The Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship Level 3 is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and knowledge to kickstart a career in today's fast-paced marketing environments. This programme blends practical marketing skills with theoretical knowledge, ideal for those wishing to gain hands-on experience while working in a real business environment.

Created in line with industry needs and employer feedback, this apprenticeship focuses on the tools, techniques and strategies used in professional marketing roles. Students will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders and drive marketing initiatives in a professional environment, demonstrating adaptability, collaboration, and professionalism.

The course supports progression into roles such as marketing assistant, social media officer, content creator, campaign executive, or progression to further study and specialisation.

What else do I need to know?

During the course, you will work on real-world projects and carry out on-the-job training, guided by experienced tutors and workplace mentors. You will be supported to reach the gateway to end point assessment to achieve the Apprenticeship Standard.

Throughout the Apprenticeship, you will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of marketing and strategy Liaise with stakeholders and customers to effectively manage their journey Discover campaign management techniques and how to analyse marketing campaigns Support the strategic planning and coordination of marketing campaigns Create content for a variety of digital platforms Manage digital platforms Build skills in data analysis and campaign evaluation

To complete the Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, you must be working in a relevant job role and industry. If you already hold a higher-level qualification in this area, it may affect your eligibility. Relevant marketing or creative experience is also advantageous but not essential.

If you are aged 16–18, you will need Level 2 English and maths for this apprenticeship. Apprentices who do not already have Level 2 English and maths must achieve this before taking their End-Point Assessment (EPA). Before you start, we will assess your English and maths levels. You will need to be working at Level 1 to be accepted onto the apprenticeship.

The Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship will take you 23 months to complete. This apprenticeship can be started at any time, and you will meet with your assessor at least once a month either at your workplace or remotely on Teams.

As an Apprentice, you will pay no course fees. However, your employer may have to pay towards your training as well as providing you with a wage. There are different rates of pay for Apprentices depending on your age and the year of your Apprenticeship that you’re in.

Aged 16-18: The current National Minimum Wage rate for an apprentice is £7.55 per hour.

Aged 19+ and in your first year: The current National Minimum Wage rate for an apprentice is £7.55 per hour.

Aged 19+ and have completed your first year: You are entitled to the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage rate for your age.

You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in your workplace throughout your course. They will provide support and guidance and use a range of assessment methods to help you meet the requirements of the qualification and the apprenticeship standard.

You will be assessed in different ways, such as presentations, written reports, project work, practical tasks and an external exam. These methods reflect how work is assessed in industry and help prepare you for employment or further study at university.

When you, your employer and your assessor all agree that you are ready, you will be put forward for your End-Point Assessment, which is carried out by an independent assessor.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship will give you a stronger understanding of the subject and may allow you to progress onto further qualifications in this area.
