“We have just had a project to create our own documentary; we had to arrange everything ourselves and then produce it – it was a great experience. I instantly made friends on the course and the lecturers are some of the best I’ve had. I had no knowledge of how to use a camera before I started the course, but the lecturers gave us small tasks to get used to them. We’ve also had the opportunity to go on trip to Liverpool and the York film festival.”

“I attended another local College for a year but didn’t get on and wanted a fresh start studying a course I’ve never done before. The Media course at Boston College is so varied – it’s a great course to find out what you want to specialise in. We study topics such as how to use a camera, animation, stop motion, filming outside and music videos. We also go on inspirational trips to film festivals and university visits.

The lecturers are very informative and attentive. They also make sure you are supported regarding college and personal life.”
