Taking Teaching Further - As a further Education provider, we are pleased to be able to access the Government initiative Taking Teaching Further (TTF) for certain subjects.  If you have relevant knowledge and/or industry experience and want to retrain as an FE Lecturer, to teach across subject areas such as English or Maths, we are able to support you with early career support under this initiative including a reduced timetable and, to support you through your teacher training which will be fully funded.
Targeted Retention Incentive Payments for FE Teachers - If you join Boston College in a teaching role for building and construction, chemistry, computing (including digital and ICT), early years, engineering and manufacturing (including transport engineering and electronics), maths or physics and this is within your first five years of teaching responsibilities in an FE provider in England you may also be able to apply for the targeted retention incentive payment. There is eligibility criteria, such as having a teaching qualification or working towards one, or intend to work towards one in the next 12 months.
