Animal Studies

Why Choose Animal Studies?

Boston College's ever-expanding, on-site Animal Studies unit contains an impressive variety of animals such as bearded dragons, snakes, tortoises, chameleons, geckos, rabbits, mice, sugar gliders, parrots, budgies and many more small animals, birds and reptiles! The department also work closely with the Blue Cross to run the onsite rehoming cattery.

Studying theory and practical units on one of our Animal Studies or Animal Management courses, you will use rotas to take ‘hands-on’ responsibility of the animals in the unit, enabling you to build up valuable industry experience and skills.
