Suitable for anyone currently working in, or intending to work in, adult health and social care, the Level 2 Common Health Conditions Certificate will give you an awareness of a range of common health conditions.
This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of various common health conditions as well as the health of individuals affected by health conditions.
You will have 1-1 support from an assessor within the health and social care department. Your assessor is occupational competent and will support and work with you throughout the qualification period.
Please note - Learners studying a Health and Social Care course need to meet current Government legal requirements relating to COVID-19 vaccination status when working in the health and social care sector. This means learners must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, this includes being double vaccinated and having received a booster. Learners need to meet this legal requirement to be able to attend placement, without attending placement learners cannot complete their qualifications.
If you think you may be medically exempt from the COVID-19 mandatory vaccination. Learners will need to provide evidence of an NHS Covid pass medical exemption. There is further guidance on how to apply for a medical exemption and prove you are unable to get vaccinated on the government website.
To be awarded the Level 2 Common Health Conditions Certificate you must achieve a minimum of 15 credits.

Aged 19+?
If you are aged 19 years or over on the 1st day of your course, you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with your College fees. If you progress to employment you won't have to pay anything back until you’re earning £27,295 per year. Your household income isn't taken into account and there's no credit check.
