At Boston College you will begin by learning design, manufacturing and production skills using modern engineering tools and equipment in our dedicated workshops.

You will be based within the College's brand new, purpose-built Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology Centre. Facilities will include an innovation hub, engineering workshops with traditional and modern manufacturing equipment, an IT training room, industrial robot and a CAD/CAM suite.

Our lecturers are qualified engineers which means you will benefit from their extensive industry knowledge. You will cover a range of engineering subjects in both theory and practical sessions.

As part of these sessions, you will have access to some of the most up-to-date engineering equipment such as 3D printing, laser cutters, CAD packages and CNC machines.

Boston College in conjunction with regional education providers, is pleased to announce the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology.

Led by The University of Lincoln, the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology (LIOT) is a landmark institution creating a change in the skill provision and productively of Greater Lincolnshire

The Institute of Technology is located within the main Rochford building. Facilities include a graphic suite, electronic and robotics room, hydraulics and pneumatics training equipment, a University Level seminar room, STEM room and a digital technology suite.Β
