If you are aged 19 or over, have recently been made redundant or have been out of employment for some time, Boston College can offer you advice and support.

Depending on your work situation, we offer a range of FREE courses to help you gain new skills, build your confidence and get you into employment.

We recognise that everyone has different needs and goals, the aim of the Employability Support Team is to support you with quality training and professional advice designed around your specific needs.  Our advisers and tutors have extensive experience working with a variety of people, ranging from those who have recently been made redundant, to supporting those who have been unemployed for longer periods.

Boston College's 'Employment and Skills Training' courses help to build your confidence and develop your interests to get you into employment. We also traineeships as a stepping stone to apprenticeships should you be thinking about a career which is completely new to you.
