The National Student Survey results are in…

Absolutely brilliant news released this week as the National Student Survey 2020 (NSS) puts the College 31st out of 467 national providers for our overall student satisfaction!

The benchmark for overall satisfaction was this year set at 85% with the College achieving an amazing 96%, more than 10% above the national average.

With an above average rating in all areas across the board, those with an incredible 100% satisfaction include the ability to contact staff when needed, organisation and smooth running of courses and how staff value student’s views and opinions about the course.

The survey was conducted not only so that current students can let future students know about the quality of their courses, but also that the universities and colleges can use the feedback given to improve their provision and facilities. It also gives the general public an insight into the quality of teaching on offer.

Vicki Locke, Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality at Boston College said, “We are immensely proud of this year’s NSS results which highlights the brilliant learning experience we offer here at Boston College. Our HE students have rated their experience very highly, especially praising teaching, academic support and guidance, as well as opportunities for student voice. This is what we stand for as a college.”

“Our team are committed and passionate about enabling skills development and careers progression, making a difference to people’s lives, through our exceptional standard of teaching and care.”
