Boston College receive £244,229 in funding from Office for Students
Following successful bids for funding, Boston College has received a total of £244,229 capital funding from Office for Students, as part of the distribution of capital grant by the Office for Students (OfS).
This funding will be used to support the delivery of the College’s Higher Education provision, with an emphasis on Engineering. Helping to develop and upskill the workforce of the future, targeting sector specific skills gaps and ensuring industry standard learning facilities.
The funding will be used to secure a variety of state-of-the-art engineering equipment featuring robotics and lathes as well as refurbishing and developing Higher Education learning areas for all HE students.
Following the announcement, Claire Foster, Boston College Principal and CEO, said “We are thrilled to have been given this substantial boost in capital funding from the Office for Students for our higher education courses. Our mission is to provide high quality and accessible higher education in Boston and Spalding and with this money we will be able to invest in state-of-the-art facilities in engineering, robotics as well as upgrading excellent learning spaces for local students.”
