This Gas Safety Re-Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative to carry out combustion performance gas analysis for commissioning at initial installation, re-commissioning after servicing or replacement of parts or the identification of full-service requirements on gas fired appliances by knowledge & understanding and practical assessments.

What will I do?

This Gas Safety re-assessment course includes refresher training & assessment of the following:

  • Re-testing appliances when new components have been fitted
  • Unsafe situation category for flued appliance that fails to reach satisfactory combustion performance
  • Unsafe situation category for flueless appliance that fails to reach satisfactory combustion performance
  • Additional allowances for CO levels for gas cookers
  • Understanding action levels for gas appliances
  • If CO/CO2 ratio levels remain above suitable performance levels after adjustment, explain actions to be taken

There are no formal entry requirements to attend the course but you must have relevant gas work experience.

This Gas Safety re-assessment course will take you 4 hours to complete during 1 session at our ACS Centre, on our Boston Campus (Rochford)

The cost to undertake this Gas Safety course ยฃ125 per applicant.

Assessments are a mix of practical activities, question and answer sessions, and multiple-choice assessments.
