• Carbon Awareness: Develop knowledge of the carbon footprint, the impact of global warming and how energy consumption links to carbon emissions
• Improving Energy Efficiency: Develop knowledge of the importance of energy efficiency, how to monitor energy consumption and reduce heat loss from a building and how to monitor fuel consumption in a vehicle, understand energy efficiency ratings of electrical equipment and where to find information about saving energy
• Sources of Energy: Develop knowledge of different sources of energy, identifying how renewable sources may be developed and exploring issues that may be raised with such developments
• Sustainability and Environmental Awareness: Develop knowledge of sustainability and raise awareness of the environment, considering how consumption levels may impact the environment and how developing more sustainable behaviours may support the environment
