Lewis Self

Meeting our Apprentices - I currently work as a Commis Chef at Boston West Golf Centre and Hotel for four days a week where I gain my practical skills and attend college one day a week to complete my theory based units of my apprenticeship.

I was never really good at school, so a Boston College apprenticeship is perfect as it’s enabled me to enter a working environment earlier and gain practical skills.

I’m hoping to become a chef in a large city one day.
