After studying accountancy and catering I wanted to add another skill to my CV and an apprenticeship is a great way to learn a trade by gaining on-site experience. I had no bricklaying experience when I started the course, but the lecturers are easy to talk to if you need help. I spend one day a week at college, and four days with my employer.
It’s great to be able to take the skills I have learnt at college and use them in real life situations.
