This one day course is aimed at caterers and other food handlers and will involve learning about food safety in the storage, preparation, cooking, service and handling of food.
The topics are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to maintaining good practice.

There are no formal entry qualifications for this course.
However, it is expected that you are working in the Catering or Hospitality industry.
The course will take you 1 day to complete. You will attend college at our Spalding Campus between 9:00am and 4:30pm.

This course will cost £86. This cost will cover your exam fee and materials.

The day will conclude with a multiple choice examination and successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by the City & Guilds Awarding Body. The examination will consist of 40 questions, of which 28 must be correct. One hour is allowed to complete this examination.
