After what has felt like a long year out, we are super excited for the return of Elite Eleven!

The inter-county competition will provide participants with the opportunity to compete in a variety of sporting challenges testing both their physical and mental skill set, with the aim of being crowned this year's Elite Eleven, as well as getting their hands on some fantastic prizes!

We are also proud to welcome this year's special guest speaker, a well recognised record breaker, providing participants with the opportunity to ask their own questions and hear about their experience first hand.

Please read through the below and complete the form at the bottom of this page to confirm you understand exactly what is required before your team compete to be titled this year's Elite Eleven.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

As always, we take safety of our events seriously and in response to rising case numbers and the on-going COVID-19 pandemic Boston College will be implementing further measures to ensure the safety of all in attendance as well as the wider community.

Pre-Event COVID-19 Testing

It is required that all attendees, including staff and students, take a lateral flow test no more than 24 hours prior to the event. Please confirm your acknowledgement of this by completing the Elite Eleven Safety and Consent Form. (Link found at the bottom of this page).

Event Procedures

Facemasks are a mandatory requirement for all, unless medically exempt, and must be worn at all times unless participating in an activity.

Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the centre, and we encourage all attendees to use this frequently in between challenges and to wash hands more frequently for at least 20 seconds.

The building will have increased ventilation, please bear this in mind and ensure extra layers are brought for between activities.

There will be no mixing of schools, all groups will be allocated a section within the hall for seating during their break and awards presentation, each group will be spaced at least 2m apart.

There will be allocated changing rooms assigned before the event, access to which will be coordinated by College staff and Team Ambassadors.

Dedicated Team Ambassadors will be allocated and stay with your team throughout the event ensuring procedures are followed and guiding you around the centre.

A one-way system has been introduced to reduce crossing in the corridors.

Should circumstances change causing distribution to or cancellation of the event, we will ensure to contact you as early as possible and provide further details and information.

Photographic and Multi-media Consent Forms

Please find the link to our photographic and multi-media consent form at the bottom of this page. It is important that this is complete prior to the event to ensure permissions have been checked and we do not capture any images of learners who do not consent.

If some learners do not consent to their images being taken please can you identify those learners at event check in so they can be noted down and handed a sticker to identify them when photos are taken throughout.

Again, this is to ensure the safety and security of all attendees throughout the event.

TO BE COMPLETED BY FRIDAY 19th NOVEMBER

If this form is not received by the deadline, your school will not be eligible to participate in this year’s event.
