The Level 2 Performing Arts Diploma is for students who wish to gain skills in various areas of performing arts and learn how to apply these creatively.

The course has pathways for dance, drama and singing. You will have the opportunity to perform in several performances throughout the year.

Your training will include accurate, up to date knowledge of the industry as all our lecturers have professional experience of the creative industries and are still actively involved in the business outside of the College.

What will I do?

You will study seven different units covering dance, drama and singing. You will also look at core performing arts skills relating to performance, production, event management and creative business.

You'll train in our dedicated performing arts facilities, which include a dedicated dance studio, practice rooms and performance spaces.

There will be opportunities to gain work experience through the implementation of 'Live Briefs' which allow you to engage with the local business community and work on 'Real World' projects. We also arrange workshops and invite guest speakers including Creative Practitioners who are working in the industry to talk to you and give you advice about your careers.

Your course will also include opportunities to take part in a variety of trips such as London West End shows, national exhibitions, Pineapple Dance Studio, and an international visit to Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
