The Skills Bootcamp in Zero Carbon Mastery is a sustainability and environmental management course delivered by IEMA certified professionals and industry experts, that is designed for future or existing managers with environmental management responsibilities.

What will I do?

During the Skills Bootcamp in Zero Carbon Mastery course, you will cover:

Introduction to Net Zero: Principles of Sustainability

  • Benefits of sustainable development

IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management

  • Global trends and their implications for the environment, society, and organisations 
  • Sustainable business and governance principles
  • Environmental principles and their relationship to organisations
  • Policy, legislation, and sustainability tools and techniques
  • Innovation in sustainable products and services
  • Data analysis for sustainability solutions
  • Communication, stakeholder engagement, and identifying risks/opportunities
  • Improving performance and supporting organisational change for sustainability

Train the Trainer

  • Train others in sustainability practices within your organisation, helping you to become a key change agent

Work-Related Sustainability Project

  • Work with businesses to develop sustainability projects, applying your knowledge to real-world scenarios

There are no formal entry qualifications for the Skills Bootcamp in Zero Carbon Mastery course.

The Skills Bootcamp in Zero Carbon Mastery will take you 10 days to complete. You will attend college at our Spalding Campus starting on Wednesday 15th January 2025 from 9:30am and 4:30pm.

Skills Bootcamps are tailored to meet business needs and are heavily subsidised, making employer costs minimal*. Participants are expected to take on additional roles or responsibilities to apply the skills learned from the training.

*Fees dependent on the employee being offered additional roles or responsibilities aligning with skills gained during the course within six months of the training.

You will be assessed via presentations of your projects being evaluated by tutors and industry experts.

Completion of this course will equip you with the skills/knowledge needed to progress in the workplace.
