The IOSH Working Safely course is designed to provide the knowledge and tools required to work safely across virtually any sector, this is an accessible one-day introduction to health and safety. Delegates will learn to define hazards and risks and identify common hazards. By training your workforce in this way you can improve overall health and safety performance across the organisation.

What will I do?

The IOSH Working Safely course will cover a variety of topics such as:

  • An outline of occupational safety and health
  • Defining hazard and risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance

Working Safely is a completely different approach to safety and health training. It is a high-impact programme designed to be fun and get people fully involved. The jargon-free content is based on what people need to know in practice, in real-world working environments.

There are no formal entry qualifications for the IOSH Working Safely course.

The IOSH Working Safely course will take you one day to complete, attending College from 9:00am - 4:30pm.

The IOSH Working Safely course will cost £470 per person.

Evaluation takes place at the end of the day using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise.

To pursue a career in health and Safety or gain the knowledge required at more senior levels, we offer the IOSH Managing Safely and the NEBOSH General Certificate programmes.
