Developed by MHFA England, this two-day Level 3 Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) Award course can qualify you as mental health first aider.

You will get a deep understanding of what mental health is and what factors can affect wellbeing. The course will teach you practical skills to spot the signs of mental illness and gives them the confidence to step in and support a person who needs assistance.

This course is suitable for those who want to gain the necessary skills to have a non-judgmental conversation, recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support.

What will I do?

During the two-day Level 3 Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) Award you will cover the content of both the Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications but it is aimed at Trainer/Assessors and/or supervisor level within the workplace.

This course goes into detail on a wide range of mental health conditions and the support and help provided by healthcare professionals.

There are no formal entry qualifications for the Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) Award; however, you must be aged 16+.

The Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) Award will take you two days to complete and can be studied at either Boston, Spalding or in the workplace.

The Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) Award will cost £140 per person.
