Mental Health Awareness Certificate Level 2
Add to ShortlistThe Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Certificate aims to raise awareness of mental health and a range of mental health conditions.
You will have support from an assessor within the health and social care department. Your assessor is occupational competent and will support and work with you throughout the course.
What will I do?
To be awarded the Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Certificate, you will be required to successfully complete 10 mandatory units:
- Unit 01 - Understanding mental health
- Unit 02 - Understanding stress
- Unit 03 - Understanding anxiety
- Unit 04 - Understanding phobias
- Unit 05 - Understanding depression
- Unit 06 - Understanding postnatal depression
- Unit 07 - Understanding bipolar disorder
- Unit 08 - Understanding schizophrenia
- Unit 09 - Understanding dementia
- Unit 10 - Understanding eating disorders
Entry Qualifications
There are no formal entry qualifications for the Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Certificate.
Attendance
The Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Certificate will take you 11 months to complete. Start dates are flexible.

How Will I Be Assessed
This course is assessor led. You will be assessed by a qualified assessor on a monthly basis throughout the duration of the course
Where Could It Lead?
Successful completion of this qualification could lead onto studying the Level 2 Care Diploma.
