The Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (CSCS) course is aimed at anyone who wishes to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Green Card, which allows access to construction sites in the UK.

The CSCS Green Card is intended for those working in labouring occupations only. In July 2014 CSCS introduced a new requirement for applicants to achieve a formal knowledge based qualification, the 'Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Award'. Achievement of this award will demonstrate your understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites.

*After completing this course and exam, you will need to undertake the CITB Environmental exam, once successfully completed you may then apply for your CSCS Green Card*
