One - Three Days
These courses are available to employers in the Health and Social Care sector to meet their mandatory training requirements
The First Aid at Work courses are taught by fully trained up-to-date staff and resources. You have the opportunity to choose from three fully certificated course with are compliant with the Resuscitation Council (UK) 2015.
The following three courses are currently available:
First Aid at Work Requalification - Two days
This Level 3 accredited course is for those who current First Aid at Work certificate is either about to expire or within a month of the expiry date. You much attend and successfully complete the two day course to requalify.
First Aid at Work* - Three days
This Level 3 accredited course is for those who wish to gain their First Aid at Work certificate for the first time. You must attend and successfully complete the three day course to gain your certification. The qualification is then valid for three years from your achievement date. This course includes ongoing theory and practical assessment; you will be given a First Aid at Work course handbook.
*This course also includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External resuscitation (AED).
Although it is not mandatory, the HSE strongly recommend that HSE qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders undertake an annual refresher course in order to keep their skills up-to-date and refreshed. Please enquire for further details.
There are no formal entry qualifications for the First Aid at Work course; however, you must be aged 14+.
Please note you will be unable to act as a First Aider in the workplace until you reach the age of 16.
First Aid at Work Requalification
This course will take you 12 hours to complete over two days.
First Aid at Work
This course will take you 18 hours to complete over three days.
The maximum number of attendees per course is 12 people.
