The Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is designed for those who have an interest in child and baby Basic Life Support, governed by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or OFSTED.

A range of subjects is covered including:

  • Role of the Paediatric First Aider
  • Seizure
  • Primary survey
  • Choking
  • Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
  • Minor injuries
  • Wounds, bleeding and shock
  • Recovery position

This qualification is valid for three years.

Entry Qualifications

There are no formal entry requirements for the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course however; you must be aged 16+.

The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course will take you one day to complete and can be studied at either Boston, Spalding or in the workplace.

The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course costs £70 per person.
