The Independent Living Skills Entry 1, 2 and 3 is offered to student who still need to develop independence skills to prepare them for adulthood. You will take part in a range of activities including basic cooking, travel training, accessing the community, person safety, leisure activities, art and craft, ICT and gardening.

Functional Skills English and Maths are also part of the course.

What will I do?

The Independent Living Skills Entry 1, 2 and 3 is offered to student who still need to develop independence skills to prepare them for adulthood. You will take part in a range of activities including basic cooking, travel training, accessing the community, person safety, leisure activities, art and craft, ICT and gardening.

There are no formal entry qualifications for this Independent Living Skills Entry 1, 2 and 3.

This Independent Living Skills Entry 1, 2 and 3 will take you one year to complete. You will study at our Ingelow Centre in Boston for three days a week.

The Independent Living Skills Entry 1, 2 and 3 course is free for those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course and those aged 19+ and on an EHCP.

Completion of this course can lead into employment or further education.
