The Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course gives you access to a range of vocational sessions that support development of the skills required for future employment. The majority of sessions are within a realistic working environment and includes health and safety, teamwork, interview skills, preparing for work and professional conduct at work. Independent Living Skills continue within this course to support personal and social development.

The course also including taking part in a range of enterprise activities and leisure. A work experience placement will form part of the course and you will also study functional English and maths.

What will I do?

The Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course gives you access to a range of vocational sessions that support development of the skills required for future employment. The majority of sessions are within a realistic working environment and includes health and safety, teamwork, interview skills, preparing for work and professional conduct at work. Independent Living Skills continue within this course to support personal and social development.

There are no formal entry qualifications for the Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course.

The Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course will take you one year to complete. You will attend Boston College’s Ingelow Centre in Boston for three days a week.

The Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course is free for those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course and those aged 19+ and on an EHCP.

The Entry 3/Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills course gives you access to a range of vocational sessions that support development of the skills required for future employment. Independent Living Skills continue within this course to support personal and social development.

Completion of this level 1 course can lead onto a Level 2 course.
