ESOL English Award in Speaking and Listening
If English is your second language, then why not come along to our small friendly classes to practice speaking and listening in English.
This short course will help you to learn how to use English in everyday conversations such a talking to your childβs teacher, booking an appointment, shopping, and work.
On finishing this course, you could go on to enrol on an ESOL qualification to improve your job prospects or any of our other adult course such as maths and digital skills.
What will I do?
You will work with an experienced ESOL lecturer to improve your spoken English over 6 weeks and learn about listening to key information and instructions as well as conversations with a range of people and organisations.
Entry Qualifications
There are no formal entry qualifications for this ESOL - Conversation Class.
Attendance
This ESOL - Conversation Class will take you 6 weeks to complete. Starting on Tuesday 6th June 2023, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at our Horncastle Campus.
Fees
The ESOL - Conversation Class is free to those who are eligible, however proof of Settled status or pre settled status evidence is required.
How Will I Be Assessed
There will be no exams on this course but upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Boston College Certificate of Achievement.
Where Could It Lead?
Completion of the course can lead on to further study within ESOL such as the ESOL speaking and Listening or Reading and Writing at Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3.
