This Mental Health First Aid Awareness course will explore what is mental health, factors which affect mental health, how to challenge stigma and some first aid interventions that can be used. Presentations with embedded activities and group work are used to explore the subject area.

During the Mental Health First Aid Awareness course you will learn about mental health risk factors, supportive conversations and signposting for further help. As well as partake in individual and group discussions/activities.

What will I do?

During the Mental Health First Aid Awareness course you will learn about mental health risk factors, supportive conversations and signposting for further help. As well as partake in individual and group discussions/activities.

There are no formal entry requirements however; you must be aged 19+.

The Mental Health First Aid Awareness course will take you one day to complete, 9:30am - 4.30pm.

The course will run at our Boston, Spalding and Horncastle Campuses.

The Mental Health First Aid Awareness course is FREE.

The assessment of this course will be via workbooks.
