This First Aid Awareness course will give you the opportunity to refresh your current skills or learn new ones. The course will cover areas such as CPR and safe use of an AED, how to deal with a choking casualty, and recognition and help for other illnesses for example heart attacks and anaphylaxis etc.

The course is delivered by a qualified, accredited first aid instructor, however the course is not accredited.

What will I do?

The course will cover areas such as CPR and safe use of an AED, how to deal with a choking casualty, and recognition and help for other illnesses for example heart attacks and anaphylaxis etc

There are no formal entry requirements however; you must be aged 19+.

The Mental Health First Aid Awareness course will take you one day to complete, 9:30am - 4.30pm.

The next available start date for this course in Boston is Friday 9th September 2022.

The next available start date for this course in Spalding is Thursday 8th December 2022.

The next start date for this course in Horncastle is Tuesday 8th of November 2022.

The course will run at our Boston, Spalding and Horncastle campuses.

The First Aid Awareness course is FREE.

The assessment of this course will be via workbooks.
