The aim of the Level 1 Craft Activities for Young Children unit is to enable the learner to gain an understanding of craft activities for young children.

You will have support from an assessor within the Early Years department. Your assessor is occupational competent and will support and work with you throughout the course.

What will I do?

In total you will complete one unit of written work.

There are no formal entry qualifications for the Level 1 Craft Activities for Young Children unit.

The Craft Activities for Children course will take 1 session to complete. Available at both Boston College Rochford Campus and Horncastle Campus. The course will run between 9:30am and 12:30pm on the below dates:

Rochford Campus

  • Monday 21st November 2022
  • Monday 9th January 2023

Horncastle Campus

  • Monday 14th November 2022

The Level 1 Craft Activities for Young Children unit may be fully funded by the Adult Education Budget should you be eligible under the following criteria:

  • Be aged 19 or older on the 31st August
  • Be either unemployed and receiving JSA, ESA or Universal Credit (subject to criteria) OR be earning less than Β£17,374.50 (annual gross salary) a year

If you do not qualify for funding under the AEB budget this course will cost you Β£84.
