The Pearson BTEC Construction Management for England HNC Level 4 is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) that has been approved against employer developed standards, also known as occupational standards.
This course is designed for you to be able to invest in your future and take the next step in your construction career. You will join a community of aspiring construction professionals and start your journey towards becoming a leader in the construction industry. This course is offered as a flexible evening course to fit around your work commitments.
Throughout this course, you will develop a blend of practical, work-related skills and academic knowledge to prepare you for success in construction management. You will engage in a variety of learning activities, including lectures, practical workshops, site visits, and project work. Our experienced tutors, with extensive industry backgrounds, will guide you through real-world scenarios and case studies, ensuring you develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for construction management roles. Whether you're looking to progress in your current role or transition into a management position, this course will equip you with the expertise needed to excel in today's construction industry.
During your year studying the Construction Management HNC Level 4, you will cover a variety of modules.

A key feature of this course is the emphasis on work-related learning. You'll have opportunities to apply your knowledge to practical projects, often in collaboration with local construction firms, giving you valuable industry experience and networking opportunities.
The Construction Management HNC will take you 8 months – 1 year to complete. You will attend our Boston Campus (Rochford) 1 day and 1 evening (5:00pm – 8:00pm) a week, as well as undertaking 6 hours of online learning per week.
The Construction Management HNC will cost you £7100.

Assessment is via course work which includes essays, reports, practical observations and presentations.
The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
The Pearson HNC courses are highly valued by employers, including professional bodies like the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This course can lead to careers such as Construction Manager, Site Supervisor, Project Manager, and Contracts Manager. Progression onto a HND Level 5, an undergraduate degree or further professional qualifications in a related area are possible.
