This qualification will teach you how to search and select the best options on behalf of customers from the many sources used in the industry. You will explore and learn how to interpret the range of complex information available. You will research booking conditions, costs and discounts associated with package holidays.
You will study two areas:
The course is assessed by a written assessment comprising of researching customer needs and completing a short answer question paper.
The course will cover 10 hours altogether.
There are no specific qualifications required for this course although a good standard of literacy, ABTAC or Travel Agency experience is essential.
Successful candidates can progress to work in a customer service or travel agency environment or it may lead to further training within this field.
This course is only offered as part of full-time BTEC National Certificate Travel and Tourism, or to those who have completed the ABTAC Level 2.
