You can chose to study this course at either Boston College, Skirbeck Road, Boston or Red Lion Quarter, Spalding. Subject to numbers.
The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 places a general duty on employers to ensure adequate equipment, facilities and personnel are provided to render First Aid to their employees if they are injured or become ill at work. This course will provide the learner with the skills and knowledge to take on responsibilities of a First Aider in the workplace.
WHAT WILL I DO
The candidate will learn about the following;-
It is a one day course and includes both theory and practical sessions. Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the candidate by the course tutor. There is no final exam. At the end of the day, the tutor will inform you whether you have been successful. Candidates who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be issued with a First Aid certificate and wallet sized card which is valid for three years. These will be sent to you when they arrive at the college.
