CIEH Award in Food Safety Level 2

INTRODUCTION

You can chose to study this course at either Boston College, Skirbeck Road, Boston or Red Lion Quarter, Spalding.

This course is designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. The expected outcome is that the course participant will know and understand the requirements which will be covered under the following headings:

The day concludes with a multiple choice examination and successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. The examination will consist of 30 questions, of which 20 must be correct.  It is expected that 40 minutes will be required to complete the examination.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Coffee/tea will be provided during the breaks. Lunch is not provided, however, there is an excellent bistro and canteen facilities (term-time only) for lunches or you may bring your own lunch and eat it in the canteen. Outside term times, the main college campus does stock a selection of baguettes/rolls. Please ask at main reception for directions to the main college management office where they can be purchased.
