INTRODUCTION

This introductory course is available one evening a week.

The course has been designed for those people who wish to gain a basic understanding at an entry level which is related to joining the Construction Industry.

WHAT WILL I DO

A range of introductory tasks and skills have been included in this programme of study to give you a broader insight into the industry:

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE

One evening per week for 7 weeks

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

You should have an interest in developing your skills and knowledge in the Construction industry, there are no formal qualifications required for this course.

WHERE COULD IT LEAD

This introductory course is to form an entry point for successful learners onto the Brickwork Craf Training Level 2.

Your performance on the introductory course will be assessed and monitored. This information will be used when making judgement on yuor ability to progress on to further courses.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

For workshop activities you will need to purchase your own safety footwear and protective clothing that meet the course requirements. For classroom activities you will need to provide stationary and writing materials.
