These Level 2 certificates from City and Guilds will provide you with a recognised travel industry qualification. The syllabus is designed to include many of the skills needed to work as a Leisure Travel consultant and includes the Travel Insurance which is a necessity for working consultants.
WHAT WILL I DO
You will study 3 units taken from City & Guilds First Diploma in Travel and Tourism Level 2.
Some units are assessed by the production of a portfolio of evidence and others by an on-line multiple choice examination.
One year as a part-time or as a compulsory supplementary course for BTEC National Diploma in Travel and Tourism students (approx 6 hours a week - during 2011/12 Thursdays 9.15 - 3pm - subject to change in 2012/13) Separate units may be studied, with the following time commitments:
