The Beauty Section has three fully equipped Salons together with a reception area for all practical skills. Theory sessions will be taught either in the resource area or various classrooms.
WHAT WILL I DO
The course of study will include theoretical and practical sessions through individual and group work together with written tests, some assignment work, and the production of a portfolio of evidence. Students will be required to gain practical experience by performing treatments on clients in the realistic working environment of the salon and complete practical massage assessments. The average group size is 16 students.
This course is offered over 1 year on a Part Time Evening basis for 30 weeks from 6pm - 9pm.
A minimum of 90% attendance is required in order to achieve this qualification.
Successful completion will enable you to seek employment or work on a freelance/mobile basis within this field or progress to other holistic therapies such as Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Crystal Therapy or Indian Head Massage.
Course text: £25 approx and Salon wear.
Where courses last for more than one year, only the first year"s fees are shown
You will be required to supply your own towels, which will be discussed at the induction session.All costs must be paid at the beginning of the course.
